ESPN Trivia

Date:March 15, 2013
Cons: weak trivia, monthly calendars were too small, espn logo 80% of page
Too many disappointing questions and incorrect answers. Who cares about a college game in 1952? March 16/17 question asked who is the current Florida State FOOTBALL coach and the answer? Leonard Hamilton. Must be pulling double duty as the BASKETBALL coach!

Fine print

If you have eagle eyes this is your calender. It has great graphics and a great look, but the trivia question is printed so small you get a headache reading it.

fun, but .....

Date:February 13, 2013
Pros: Makes A Great Gift, fun at the office. we hang ours above the urinal
It's a lot of fun, but ESPN research team obviously does not take it serious enough to review their work. They frequently have questions such as "which coach has the most victories at a particular school" but fail to mention which sport they are referencing. Todays vague question dealt with Purdue.

Errors On Calendar

Date:November 30, 2012
Pros: i might win at trivia this year
I would like to thank the authors of this calendar for its mistakes. For example on about 11-21-2012 the question asked "How many ponts did Mario Lemieux score in his most prodective season? " the calendar answer was 161 when in reality it wsa 199. Lemieux had two seasons better than 161. Since I know nothing about hockey, having the wrong answers gives me the chance to compete against Pandy and Scrat, two hockey nuts. Thanks again ESPN.

Error for May 24, 2011

Date:May 24, 2011
I believe there is an error on May 24, 2011. The questions asks who was the only Chicago Cub to lead the NL in Home Runs during the 1980's. The answer they give is Kevin Mitchell but this is incorrect since he never played for the Cubs. I believe the answer should be Andre Dawson with 49 HR in 1987. Or if the answer Kevin Mitchell is correct, then the team should be the SF Giants (not the Cubs) whom he played for in 1989 and led the NL with 47 HR.
