Pros: Makes A Great Gift, High Quality Materials
Our family is going to Germany this summer and have had fun learning a new word and phrase every day. The occasional cultural and regional information is great too. Terrific calendar.

Good daily calendar

Date:January 10, 2013
Pros: Makes A Great Gift, High Quality Materials
I found the phases both appropriate and useful. While there is a pronunciation guide for one of the words in the phrase and pronunciation of the entire phrase would be even better.

This is a great way to learn 365 phases in German. I am trying to build my German vocabulary to the magical 2000 words level. Great help in getting there.

Deutsch ist gut

Date:December 19, 2012
Pros: Makes A Great Gift, educational and fun
Cons: gives pronunciation for a word not entire phrase
This is the third year I have gotten this calendar for my son. He decided to teach himself German, since it was not offered at his high school. This keeps him motivated. He has saved every page of the day calendars and uses them as review. My husband, who speaks German as a second language, also enjoys it. He and our son will use it to discuss syntax and it keeps hubby proficient in German. I would recommend Living Language Calendars to anyone wanting to brush up on a language they have studied or to encourage someone that is interested in learning a new language.

Pros: High Quality Materials
Having lived in two countries whose people speak German for a total of a bit more than five years, I purchase a Living Language German calendar each year in order to retain the German I learned in Germany and Austria. I took classes the first two years. I knew how to purchase groceries, pay bills at the Post Office, take public transport, etc. I was able to converse with people on trains albeit not fluently. Now I use the calendar to reinforce my German and also learn new words. I love the calendars.
