Look & Feel:

Date:December 7, 2013
Pros: Makes A Great Gift, High Quality Materials, perfect size for wall
I buy this same "Porches" wall calendar every year for my home office. The photos are lovely and when I look at it, I feel like I'm looking out over the water vista. It's immediately relaxing.
We use Sharpie markers to write BIG on it so we don't have to put glasses on to see it! (We hang it where it's not visible from any window so that our whereabouts remain private.) Last year we made our own from posterboards, but this one saves a lot of time and effort. It has all the major holidays on it and even the moon's phases. I only withheld a star because it doesn't retain its shape as well as posterboard and its monthly colors are a bit redundant.
The boxes are big enough to enter several items into it. The calendar is sturdy and nicely finished. I've been using this calendar for several years now and appreciate that I can actually read everything without having to walk right up next to it.
Pros: High Quality Materials, fits perfectly on the door leading to the garage
Cons: holes may tear after 8 months
The Mammoth Grid Calendar is big enough for each family member to enter their activities. It is a great tool to keep us all organized and room to spare for those happenings we might be able to squeeze in. I started ordering on-line at Calendar.com since the Calendar Kiosk during Christmas time or bookstores did not always carry the Mammoth Grid size.
I really love the Boyds Bear Deluxe Wall Calendar. Their whimsical poses and inspirational sayings put a smile on my face when I get up and before I go to bed.
Pros: High Quality Materials, fabulous for people with sight problems
I buy this calendar every year for my Mother, who has macular degeneration. The date grid is big enough that we can write her memos in black sharpie. Everything fits in the grid and she can read the information, It is a lifesaver for her
I was very impressed with this calendar. It is large enough that my husband and I can both write on it with no problems. My husband writes very large, so usually there is only enough room for his "stuff". Now I can see what is going on at a distance.
I have used the Mammoth grid for 3 years now. We hang it in the kitchen and it keeps track of all the kids activities. The squares are large enough to write lots of activities in. I also use Avery labels (30 to a sheet) and type up all of the recurring sports practices etc... The typed labels fit perfectly on the calendar.
This is the second year that we have used this calendar and we are extremely pleased with it. The only thing that would make this calendar better is if it had lines on the individual days to make it easier to write on.
Pros: High Quality Materials, the large boxes are great
Cons: the date span isn't helpful.
I'm a Payroll Secretary for a NYC DOE Public School and I use this calendar to record staff absences, which substitutes are covering, upcoming meetings and events, etc. I could actually use a calendar with even larger boxes for each date but I can make this work. The one thing that would make it just about perfect would be if I could get the calendar to run from September to August. That would make life much easier but I'm sure I'm in the minority.
My Mom is in an assisisted living home and is in a wheelchair due to a stroke. I bought this calendar for 2013 and she can see from everywhere in her room, including her bed. I write all of her appointments, birthdays, etc. on it in big writing and it makes her day! I put one of those sticky arrows on today's date so she knows the day and the date at all times, no confusion. I change it daily.I have already received 2014's Mammoth Grid calendar
I love this calendar and have been using it for 3 years now. It's the only calendar that has enough room to manage the details of multiple active kids. Yes it does take up a lot of room.....but who cares.
