Pros: Makes A Great Gift
This calendar has become a 'tradition' for my Son ~ he and his wife enjoy the challenges presented, and once in a while, they are even stumped. I've given him this calendar for several years now, and he doesn't consider Christmas complete until he has the new calendar in his hands.
I thought it would be fun to have a short puzzle to do each day. Not all of them are that fun so far but that is my own opinion. I guess I don't always find the time to do a puzzle even though they are short. But it woks great as a calendar and that's what I need it for.
For the most part, I and my husband enjoy working these each day at breakfast. Most are just hard enough to make one think but there are also some that are so difficult, having been designed just to be painfully difficult, they end up in the bin without even trying. We have had the occasional one that didn't even make sense after looking at the answer, and on some occasions, answers that were incorrect. Overall though, I have not found a better one, so have bought these for 3 years in a row now, to keep my brain active. I also enjoy photographing, some of the more interesting ones, on my iPod and sharing them with my mother many miles away.
Pros: Makes A Great Gift, High Quality Materials, nice way to start the day!
This calendar is one I have bought before and I ordered it to be sure I had it before the first of the year. I love the challenge of the daily problems and I share them with coworkers. It tends to put us all on the same wave length and it seems to lighten up things in the office. Thanks.
