Americana - Charles or Harry?

Date:December 16, 2013
Pros: Makes A Great Gift, High Quality Materials, colorful and whimsical
Forgive my ignorance or lack of information out on the internet…but Heronim (I believe Harry Wysocki) and Charles Wysocki I suspect are related. I do believe Harry is alive and living in Cambria, CA and Charles has passed on. Don’t know if they are related but the work of these two artists are oddly similar. I have purchased An American Heritage Calendar for about 4 years now and love the colorful and animated illustrations. I first discovered the calendar online, it was a good price and a lovely addition to my family-room kitchen. I loved the calendar so much I have now ordered one each year. Curiously enough, my sister-in-law also annually gets a Wysocki calendar but hers is the work of Charles Wysocki and it, too, is lovely. It seems Harry goes under the name Heronim an is noted for puzzle illustrations. Whatever the relationship between the 2 artists, I love my “An American Heritage Calendar.

Most complex in the genre

Date:October 1, 2013
Pros: High Quality Materials
The most detailed so-called "naive" or "folk" art I've seen. Bright and colorful, it's fun to look at and even study.

I give as a Christmas gift to my Mother every year. She loves Charles Wysocki and has MANY of his puzzles.
